Long Story Short
[WK.00]

Website, then everything after.

Arin runs coach-led wellness retreats in places most travel brands don't touch. The challenge was translating that feeling to a screen without losing it. The site shipped. Then the work kept going — the way I prefer it.

The Business
[WK.01]

Coach-led wellness retreats in places most travel brands don't touch. Utah. The Finger Lakes. Hvar, Croatia. Not the resort circuit.

Coaching, meditation, movement, and real community in off-the-beaten-path beauty, for midlife adults who want to pause and actually reset.

The thing that makes Awae distinctive is the posture. Not here to fix you or hand out generic advice. Every retreat surfaces the guest's own answers. Every detail is intentional. Nothing is required.

Arin Bryan

Arin and I have been friends for a long time. We were roommates back in 2011. So this project started the way the good ones usually do. Someone you trust asking for help with something they care about.

She runs retreats in places most travel brands don't touch. Coaching, meditation, movement, and real community. The challenge was translating that feeling to a screen.

The Assessment
[WK.03]

The challenge: translate that feeling to a screen without losing it, and build the systems around it that let a small team actually run a retreat business.

  • Strong brand identity and retreat programming

  • Loyal community of repeat guests

  • Branding and site design by Great Jones

  • Translating an in-person, sensory experience to a digital space

  • Standing out in a wellness market full of resort-circuit imagery and generic copy

  • A booking and payment flow that had to work for small-group, high-consideration retreats

  • A website that feels like an invitation, not a brochure

  • To be found by the right people — the ones actually searching for coach-led retreats

  • Booking, payment, and newsletter systems that fit how the business actually runs

  • A technical partner she can just ask, instead of figuring it out herself

The Build
[WK.04]

  • 01 / 04Branding and site design by Great Jones
  • 02 / 04Webflow development and build
  • 03 / 04Site structure, page flow, and content architecture
  • 04 / 04Copy that matches the brand's energy. Warm, unhurried, real

We built their website in Webflow. The collaboration was the kind I like best. People who care about what they're making, working together until it feels right.

The Partnership
[WK.05]

Awae started as a website project and grew into an ongoing relationship. Which, for the record, is how I prefer it. The design set the tone on day one. Everything since has been about keeping the site sharp and the systems humming as the business grows.

  • 01Continuous web improvements as the business evolves
  • 02AEO optimization so the right people find Awae when they search
  • 03System evaluation for booking and payment flow
  • 04Newsletter integration
  • 05Technical support and training whenever Arin needs it

It started as a Build. It became a Partnership.

Awae is the kind of engagement that keeps going. The website, then the improvements, the AEO work, the systems, the support. Every piece meeting the business where it actually was, not where a package said it should be. If you want something that feels like your business today and can keep feeling like it next year, that's what I do.
