Terms & Conditions

The terms for using this website and getting in touch with Sister Company.

About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Sister Company website, operated by Elena Boyd under the name Sister Company. In these terms, “Sister Company,” “we,” and “us” refer to that business. “You” refers to the person using this website.

These terms describe the conditions on which we make the website available. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the website. Questions can be sent to elena@sistercompany.ai.

Services and project agreements

The website describes our work in software development, AI, automation, design, and related services. Descriptions, examples, and conversations about a possible project are general information. They are not a binding offer or a promise to provide services.

Sending an inquiry does not create a client relationship or commit either of us to a project. Before paid work begins, we agree on the scope, fees, responsibilities, and other project terms in a separate written agreement. That agreement governs the work, including payment, cancellation, ownership of deliverables, confidentiality, and support. If it conflicts with these website terms, the project agreement controls for that work.

Using the website

You may browse the site, share links to its pages, and use the contact form for legitimate inquiries. Please provide accurate contact information and only submit material you are authorized to share.

You must not use the site to send spam, impersonate another person, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the site’s operation. You must not use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights or breaks applicable law. We may restrict access to protect the site from misuse.

Content and ownership

Unless otherwise identified, the website’s original writing, code, and design belong to Sister Company or are used with permission. Client names, trademarks, photographs, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Showing a project does not transfer ownership of the client’s materials or imply that we created every part of it.

You may link to our content and quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link to the original page, subject to applicable law. Reproducing or distributing substantial portions of the site, using our branding to imply endorsement, or reusing client assets requires permission from the relevant rights holder. Any separately stated license for downloadable code or materials governs those materials. Nothing here limits uses permitted by law.

Examples, tutorials, and AI

Articles, tutorials, demonstrations, and case studies are provided for general information. They reflect the circumstances and tools described at the time and may become outdated. Examples of efficiency improvements or business outcomes are not guarantees of results for your business.

AI systems can produce inaccurate or incomplete output. Before using an example, workflow, or AI-generated result in your business, check that it is appropriate for your needs and review the output. Educational content on this site is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional where that advice is needed.

Contacting us

Use the contact form or email to tell us about your project. Please keep an initial inquiry to the information needed to discuss the work, and leave out passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information, and confidential client files. We can agree on an appropriate way to share project materials later.

An inquiry does not create a nondisclosure agreement. We may use the information you send to respond and discuss your request; it does not give us ownership of your materials or permission to publish them.

Other websites and services

This site may link to or display content from client websites and other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, availability, or handling of information. A link or embed does not guarantee the accuracy of everything on the linked site.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or current. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sister Company is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this website. This includes lost profits or business opportunities resulting from reliance on its general information. This provision concerns website use; responsibility for paid services is addressed in the relevant project agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Updated terms apply prospectively from the stated date, subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law. They do not change an existing project agreement.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
